Tuesday
28th August 2007 -
Charlie, Rupert, Guy, Ernie, Rob, Mark, Dick, Tony and Thomas finally set sail
from the Isle of Wight and headed along the coast towards Cornwall.
By the evening they
were well on their way past Portland and sailing along the Devon
Coast.

From
Guy when offering food to Charlie " chuck it in the sea
cause that's where it will be going anyway"
Wednesday
29th August 2007
- By evening they were sailing around Land's End and, all being
well, they hope to reach Clovelly by Thursday afternoon. There
have been reports of sea - sickness, blistered hands, sun stroke
but (to date) no signs of mutiny on board! This afternoon
(Wednesday) they were all in good spirits and ready to take on the
Atlantic!

of the Day - From
Thomas " Good Morning - it's 2.45am and I'm doing the night
watch - it's bloody cold up on deck - I'm OK though I've got a
gallon of coffee in me"
Thursday
30th August 2007
-
Laying off Clovelly early afternoon they did some fishing whilst
waiting for High Tide and the final leg of their journey to Chivenor.
I took some photo's off the harbor wall at Clovelly but it was
overcast and dull. Misty Moonbeam sailed over the bar and arrived at
Chivenor early evening to a beautiful sunset and a gathering crowd!
After some very clever maneuvers she is now securely anchored and
her crew now relaxing on the boat and enjoying their safe
return!

of the Day - From
Thomas " It's nice weather but getting a bit chilly now - I've
done a bit of fishing for about an hour and caught a fish - the
smallest mackerel I've ever seen"
